Billing & Refund Policy

Draft terms for SweetHomePet platform-service charges, refunds, reversals, and disputes.

Final commercial and legal review required.

This page describes implemented billing controls without inventing consumer-policy guarantees or jurisdiction-specific rights.

Platform services only

SweetHomePet bills only for its own services, including eligible subscriptions, listing publication, platform credits, and promotion or featured placement. SweetHomePet does not bill, escrow, receive, transfer, refund, or guarantee the purchase price of a pet.

Price and recurrence disclosure

Before Checkout, SweetHomePet displays the service, amount, currency, whether the charge is one-time or recurring, and a link to this policy. Monthly subscriptions recur until canceled through the available billing portal, subject to the terms displayed at Checkout.

Cancellations

Canceling a subscription and refunding a payment are separate actions. Where a subscription is scheduled to cancel at period end, eligible benefits may remain through the paid period. A refund does not automatically cancel a subscription, and cancellation does not automatically create a refund.

Refunds, reversals, and disputes

Full refunds or invalidated payments can revoke benefits funded solely by that payment. Partial refunds normally place affected benefits into review rather than automatically revoking an entire subscription. Unused credits can be reversed without producing a negative balance; consumed benefits remain in historical records and may require manual review.

Disputes and chargebacks are tracked separately. Open or lost disputes can revoke or review affected benefits. Reinstated or won disputes remain subject to manual review rather than silently restoring benefits.

Requesting help

Contact support@sweethomepet.com with the account email, platform service, and approximate charge date. Do not send card numbers, security codes, authenticator codes, or account passwords.

Professional review still required

Final refund eligibility windows, cancellation timing, taxes, mandatory consumer rights, regional disclosures, and the legal entity responsible for billing must be approved before live billing and public launch.
