Information SweetHomePet processes
Depending on how you use the service, SweetHomePet processes account and profile information, email, general location, listings, uploaded media, private messages, applications, buyer interests, reviews, verification material, report evidence, safety and moderation records, platform billing records, and technical, session, and security information.
We do not ask for a date of birth during registration. Account creation instead requires confirmation that the person is at least 18 years old.
Public information and private information
Public
Approved listing details, general location, chosen display name, public profile details, descriptive verification badges, published reviews, and completed listing outcomes may be visible publicly. Public information should never contain a street address, private contact detail, or sensitive evidence.
Private
Email, phone or exact address if supplied in an appropriate private workflow, verification and report evidence, reporter identity, private messages, application and transaction details, account-enforcement history, session/security information, and private platform-billing records are restricted to the account holder, authorized participants, or Support where required for the service.
Why information is processed
SweetHomePet uses information to create and secure accounts; publish and moderate listings; support applications, interests, messages, handovers, and reviews; review verification and safety reports; operate platform billing; prevent abuse; maintain audit integrity; answer support requests; and provide privacy controls.
SweetHomePet does not sell personal information. This release does not use third-party behavioral advertising or advertising trackers. Operational providers should receive only the information needed for their service.
Platform billing
Stripe-related records concern SweetHomePet platform services such as subscriptions, listing publication, credits, or promotion. SweetHomePet does not process or store pet purchase card details and does not hold or transfer a pet’s purchase price.
Retention and account closure
Profile data, favorites, saved searches, notifications, sessions, and public listings can be removed or anonymized during controlled account closure. Multi-party messages and completed transaction history are retained consistently so closing one account does not erase another participant’s history. Financial, refund, dispute, consent, fraud, safety, moderation, reconciliation, security, and audit records may be retained where necessary for integrity or review.
Export files expire after 24 hours. Other operational review periods are configurable and remain subject to final legal and business review; destructive automated production cleanup is not enabled.
Access, correction, export, and closure
Account holders can update ordinary profile data, request a structured personal-data export, and use the controlled account-closure flow from Privacy & Account Controls. Exports exclude secrets, confidential Support notes, reporter identities that are not the requester’s, and private information belonging solely to another person.
Some deletion or disclosure requests may need Support review because records involve another participant or must remain connected to billing, safety, fraud, security, or audit history.
Security and evidence
SweetHomePet limits sensitive evidence to protected workflows, applies authorization checks, and records safe audit events. No online service can promise absolute security; users should protect their passwords and report suspicious access promptly.
Questions and privacy requests
Use the authenticated privacy controls where available or contact support@sweethomepet.com. Final launch wording, jurisdiction-specific rights, provider disclosures, international-transfer language, retention periods, and complaint/escalation procedures require professional review.
