Anyone may browse public listings. A registered, email-verified account is required to create listings, apply, express buyer interest, or use protected transaction messaging. New For Sale listing activity also requires approved seller verification.

The owner records the adoption. The listing stays visible as Adopted, and actual participants may leave verified reviews.
Rehoming
- 01
Create a candid listing
An email-verified owner describes the pet’s needs, history, and reason for rehoming. The listing is reviewed before publication.

Receive applications
Email-verified people submit rehoming applications rather than relying on exposed contact details.
- 03
Consider suitability
The owner reviews the information, asks welfare-focused questions, and accepts an appropriate application when ready.

Plan a safe handover
Participants use private messaging to discuss records, routines, identity checks, and a suitable transfer setting.

Record the outcome
The owner marks the listing Rehomed. New applications stop, history remains public, and participants may review one another.
For Sale
- 01
Seller verification and listing review
The seller must have a verified email and approved seller verification for new For Sale activity. Listings are moderated before publication.

Express buyer interest
An email-verified buyer uses the structured interest form after reviewing the pet and public seller information.

Review and connect
The seller reviews interest and can accept a suitable buyer for private SweetHomePet messaging.

Verify before handover
Participants independently check the pet, records, ownership, terms, and safe payment and handover arrangements.

Complete, document, review
The seller marks the listing Sold. A short, privacy-safe handover video may be submitted for moderation, and participants may leave verified reviews.
Visibility without exposing private history
Completed listings remain public with an Adopted, Rehomed, or Sold status, but application answers, buyer-interest details, exact addresses, messages, reports, and private transaction information do not become public. Where the product offers post-completion contact, it still uses controlled SweetHomePet workflows.
